I just wanted to take a few moments to put out a big thank you this holiday season to all the wonderful folks of Green County who made me feel so welcome during the first two weeks of this month, while I was home on leave from Iraq.

From the gratis haircut at Barbers II, to the impromptu welcome home party in Juda, to the well wishes and hearty handshake of Rep. Brett Davis and most everyone I met on Veterans Day down on the Square, it truly made me appreciate your community as a whole.
