McGuire: McGuire for school board
Letter To The Editor

From Dylan McGuire

Monroe

To the Editor:

My name is Dylan McGuire and I am running for re-election to the School District of Monroe Board of Education this Spring. I am proud of my service to the community and look forward to continuing serving this great community and district in the next 3 years. I am writing to ask for your support in the upcoming election on April 5th and hope you also consider voting for Rich Deprez and Eric Eckdhal as well.

I was born and raised in Monroe and my family has lived in this community for generations. After graduation from MHS in 2010, I went on to earn my degree in Economics from UW-Whitewater and then moved back home to Monroe to begin my career. I feel a huge connection to this district and community and want to serve on the board to give back after providing me with a great education in my life.

The immediate future of the district includes some extremely important decisions on facilities and personnel, among other things, that will shape the district for years to come. I think it is vital that the board consists of people that are ardent supporters of public education, students, and teachers while having the knowledge and interest in how the district operates to be able to lead the district through these important decisions. This is why I believe I am someone that should earn your vote and I hope that I do so in the next two months prior to the election.

Thank you for your support.
