Huzzah to all the performers and coordinators of this year’s Shakespeare on the Edge rendition of “A Midsummer’s Night Dream.” The kids were well practiced, the crescent moon rising over Twining bandshell magical, and the audience thoroughly entertained. How wonderful that we have a children’s Shakespearean program in the Monroe area. The youth, through practice, encouragement, and play, feel supported and empowered in self beyond the stage. Thanks especially to Jen Bethel and Paula Vestin for their tireless work.
