One of the purposes of this blog is to discuss Monroe Times policies and news decisions with readers. Its a chance for me to explain some of the reasons why we do the things we do here in the newsroom both online and in print.

But its also an opportunity for readers to ask questions, as well as challenge some of the decisions that are made. Nobodys perfect, after all. And Id like to think the Times is an adaptable newsroom that can make changes whenever and wherever necessary.
