Yesterday, I mentioned theres a upcoming situation with the popular comic strip For Better or For Worse.
The strips artist, Lynn Johnston, nearly quit doing the strip a year or two ago. In fact, For Better has been a hybrid strip since September 2007, with new strips interspersed with old ones some from as far back as 28 years ago.
But by this coming September, Johnstons plan is to stop doing new For Better strips altogether. Instead, she will start from the beginning, rerunning old strips but tinkering with some to fix some stuff she told the Chicago Tribune earlier this year.
We currently are testing six news comics to find a permanent replacement for Kim and Jason.
My question to you today is, should we be looking for another replacement?
We could continue to run For Better or Worse, starting back at the beginning, from 29 years ago, with Lynn Johnston.
Or we could make a break and introduce another new strip to the lineup.
Which would you prefer?
