David Cook, the master of the power ballad, did it again last night. I think Simon's choice of "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" was brilliant for David - his version ranks right up there with Johnny Cash's. I also loved his "Don't Want To Miss A Thing," but that song was so perfect for him it was almost a cliche.

Little David did OK -- I agree with Brenda that he's getting a bit boring. I don't think he'll get voted off -- he's still way better than Syesha. (Who did OK, but as Simon said, she's lame cabaret.)

Wow -- check out Brenda's blog. That's really going out on a limb with her prediction, but Brenda's been right more than she's been wrong. Should be very interesting tonight!
