Brenda, the idol oldie

I have watched American Idol for years. After years of my husband rolling his eyes at me telling me I watch garbage, I am happy to say he now sits beside me voicing his opinion on the contestants and actually enjoys the show.

This weeks American Idol features the top 24 contestants. I love this part of the show. The guys performed Tuesday night, the girls Wednesday night and they eliminate 2 guys and 2 girls on Thursday.

The guys started out by having to sing a song from the 1960s. Not my favorite time frame for music but.....

Here are my thoughts:

After last nights performance I would say my top 3 picks are :

Michael Johns (he will be the one to beat)

David Archuleta (cute kid, lots of talent)

Jason Castro (love his expressions!)

The one who gets a free pass this week (because of his looks)

The Sanjaya of the season (the one that will stick around just to annoy you)
