Monroe Wrestling Club wins Darlington’s Coach Hackett Memorial Tournament

Fourteen Monroe Wrestling Club athletes competed in Darlington’s Coach Hackett Memorial Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 31, coming away with a first-place finish.

MONROE — The Monroe Wrestling Club started their Christmas Break with seven wrestlers going to the Andy Heine Memorial Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023. 

RESULTS

Trace Rowe (3rd-4th, 88-90) 4th place; Colton Ladwig (5th-6th, 58-62) 3rd place; Dixon Starr (5th-6th, 58-62) 1st place; Jaxon Gobeli (5th-6th, 95-100) 3rd place; Brynlee Seffrood (3rd-5th, 70-74) 2nd place; Kenlie Seffrood (6th-8th, 83-95) 2nd place; and Lexi Seffrood (6th-8th, 110-115) 2nd place. 

Finishing up the Christmas Break, 14 MWC wrestlers competed at the Darlington Redbird Coach Hackett Memorial Tournament on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023. This team also came away with a first-place finish.
