WIOTA - For the second straight game, Wiota had a flair for the dramatic in coming back to beat Orfordville 4-3 in a Home Talent league baseball game Thursday night.
Wiota (3-2) entered the seventh inning trailing Orfordville 3-2. Matt Keister, who went 2 for 4, singled. Wiota's Jeff Solberg singled and Alex Abraham walked. Jay Haldiman then delivered a clutch game-winning two-run single to give the Indians their second walk-off win in less than a week.
"It's nice to come back and win it, especially with our young guys playing," Wiota coach Dick Schliem said.
Wiota's Taylor Wiegel pitched a perfect seventh for the win. He struck out one. Solberg went 2 for 2 and Haldiman was 2 for 4 at the plate.
