BELMONT - The Warriors didn't stay down for long.

Black Hawk's boys basketball team shook off last Friday's defeat to Monticello in quick fashion versus Belmont on Monday by jumping out to a 13-4 lead after one quarter during the Warriors' 59-28 road victory.

Joey Hartwig led Black Hawk with 13 points and fellow senior Taylor Goodman pitched in with 11. Classmate Alex Abraham tailled nine points - all on 3-pointers - in the victory over the Braves.
