Three Sugar River soccer players were selected to play in the girls and boys Wisconsin Masonic Soccer All-Star games, set for July 30 at Firefighter Stadium in Middleton.

Hannah Kernen, a University of Wisconsin-Green Bay recruit and teammate Rachel Skolaski will play on the girls team. Sugar River's Jon Fox was selected as a midfielder and will play in the boys All-Star game July 30.

The All-Star games are returning to the Madison area for the 20th anniversary. The girls game kicks off at 11 a.m., July 30 and the boys game is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tickets are $10

The matches for the state's top players in the Class of 2011 were last held in the area in 1996-97, when they were played at the University of Wisconsin's McClimon Complex.

The games have had several homes over the years, including West Bend High School, the Bavarian Inn in Glendale, Neenah High School, Carthage College in Kenosha and most recently Marian College in Fond du Lac, where the games were held for the past three years.

At least 11 NCAA Division I recruits are scheduled to play in this year's games.

Kernen will be joined by two other UW-Green Bay recruits including Madison Memorial goalkeeper Katy Pilarzyk and Verona midfielder Abby Juzwik. All three were named to the first team of the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association all-state team last month.

Appleton North forward Kyle Neumann (UW-Milwaukee), Hartford midfielder Justin Laird (Wright State), Waukesha Catholic Memorial defender Eric Schoendorf (Loyola, Ill.) and Kettle Moraine Lutheran forward Dustin Page and Kohler defender Shawn Vroom, both headed to Northern Illinois, are on the boys' rosters.

Brookfield Central midfielder Gina Scaffidi (Western Illinois), Madison Memorial defender Dana Robertson (UNC Charlotte) and Catholic Memorial forward Mia Uzelac (Youngstown State) also are set to play.
