NEW GLARUS - Six players from the New Glarus baseball team were honored as a part of the recent Capitol South All-Conference teams that were selected by conference coaches.
Garnering second-team honors for the Knights were the senior battery of Kyle Larson at pitcher and Patrick Elzen at catcher. Earning honorable-mention status were Tyler Molencamp and Gavin Binger at infield, and Kyle Xistris-Songpanya and Koner French at outfield.
Hudson Barsness of Wisconsin Heights was named as the conference's Player of the Year. The senior led the Vanguards team to a conference and sectional championship, as well as a berth in the state tournament.
