MONROE - Darlington's Lee Ruf won the 466 Hot Farm class of the Badger State Tractor Pull on Friday at the 162nd annual Green County Fair.
Ruf had a pull of 329.01 feet to win the 15-member Hot Farm class. Milton's Mike Loofboro took second (316.46).
The tractor pull on Friday marked the second day of the Badger State Tractor Pull at the fair. Only two classes were completed in the first day of the pull Thursday night before thunderstorms hit the area and wiped out the competition. All seven classes of the tractor pull were completed Friday. A total of 53 participants competed in the tractor pull on Friday at the fair.
Milton's Collin Birkholz finished first in the 540 Light Pro class with a pull of 333.15. Monroe's Scott Olson finished second (314.64).
Tim Brinkmeier, of Warren, won the pro Stock class with a pull of 333.9. Craig Ladwig of Cascade took second (328.5. In the 640 Pro Farm class, LaSalle's Matt Angel finished first (303.29) and Jerry Sacia of Pecatonica, Illinois, took second (298.51).
Jake Thompson of Plano, Illinois, finished first in the Pro Stock Diesel Truck class (324.49). Jefferson's Matt Davis won the Modified 4-by-4 Trucks class with a pull of 313.05, which was about 10 feet ahead of runner-up Cameron Davis of Jefferson (303.99).
Loony Sailor, of Oak Park, Minnesota, won the Pro Modified Semi class (343.89). Bangor's Kurt Heyroth finished second (339.26).
