PRAIRIE DU CHIEN - The Darlington boys and girls track teams both finished third at the Prairie du Chien Relays Monday.
Darlington senior Kara Krahenbuhl won the pole vault (9-feet). The Redbirds girls squad had three of four relay teams finish in the top two. The Redbirds' 3,200-meter relay team finished first with a time of 10:29.38.
Fennimore won the title over Platteville 118-101. The Redbirds finished third (88 points) just ahead of Cuba City (77) at the 12-team relays.
The Redbirds' 1,600 relay team took second with a time of 4:17.85, which was about three seconds behind Platteville.
The 800 relay finished second (1:53.67), less than three seconds behind Cuba City.
In the boys competition, Darlington junior Zach Brown won the high jump (5-10).
La Crosse Central ran away to win the boys title by outdistancing Platteville 195-104. Darlington and Lancaster tied for third with 67 points just ahead of Dodgeville-Mineral Point (65).
