LA CROSSE - The Sugar River girls soccer team won the La Crosse Aquinas tournament Saturday after recording two shutouts.
Sugar River (17-3, 5-1 Capitol South) beat La Crosse Aquinas 2-0 and then picked up a 3-0 win over Onalaska.
Sugar River's Katie Viney scored two goals to propel the Raiders to a 2-0 win over Aquinas.
In the second game against Onalaska, junior Hannah Kernen scored three goals to lift the Raiders to a 3-0 victory. Tara Duffin, Lauren Narveson and Chelsea Holler each collected assists.
Goalkeeper Natalie Manion had two saves.
