MONROE - Indoor Pickleball will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday nights at the Monroe High School auxiliary gym starting Nov. 6.

Brian Saugstad is the coordinator for the program.

Pickleball is a racquet sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. The court is just under one third of the area of a tennis court and a similar net. The game is played with a hard paddle and a ball similar to a whiffle ball.

There is no cost for the program. To register, contact the Monroe Parks and Recreation at 608-329-2460 or visit the office at city hall, 1110 18th Ave.
