MINERAL POINT - Senior A.J. Hendrickson scored a game-high 25 points to help the Pecatonica boys basketball team roll to a 68-46 win over Mineral Point on Saturday.

With his performance, Hendrickson broke the school record for most points in a career, which was held by Kip Jackson (1,628 points). Jackson graduated in 1995. Hendrickson now has 1,640 career points.

Pecatonica (3-1) made 22 of 26 from the free-throw line in the second half.

"I think we learned from that Cuba City game," Pecatonica coach Matt Fink said of the Vikings' 61-59 loss to the Cubans Nov. 28. "We got back to the basics, we attacked the basket and got to the free-throw line. We came out and beat a really good Mineral Point team. Hopefully, this will lead to more success down the road."

Pecatonica senior Kole Kent scored 15 points, and sophomore Colten Schraepfer added 11 points.

Juda 70, Johnson Creek 38

Juda (1-1) led 43-21 at the half.
