MONROE - The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department will be holding a 4x4 soccer tournament on July 4.
The tournament is open to kindergarteners-adults and is held at the Green County YMCA soccer fields and will follow a round robin format with each team guaranteed to play three games against teams in their division.
Everyone playing will receive medals including first, second place and participation medals. Adult teams will receive key chains.
The YMCA still has openings. To sign-up contact the YMCA office office as soon as possible at 329-2460.
All the games will be refed. In case of rain, as many games as possible will be played. If the tournament is canceled because of rain, the player fee will not be refunded. Each player will receive a team T-shirt.
