MONROE - Monroe High School boys basketball coach Pat Murphy will host a boys basketball camp for third- through eighth-graders May 24-26 at the high school.
Murphy will teach the fundamentals of defense, offense, shooting, rebounding, dribbling and passing. The camp will provide individual and team competition.
Camp registration is $35 and the deadline is May 16. Boys who register for the camp will receive a T-shirt. Checks can be made payable to Monroe Boys Club. Registration forms can be picked up at the Monroe High School office or at the Monroe Parks and Recreation office.
The camp is based on the age of players in the 2015-16 school year. Sessions for third-, fourth- and fifth-graders will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m. those three days, and then the sessions for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The cost to attend one day of camp is $15 and for two days is $25.
