Monroe seniors Alex Witt closer his prep wrestling career with a fourth-place finish at 182 pounds in the WIAA Division 2 state tournament Feb. 29 at the Kohl Center in Madison. Teammate Patrick Rielly (160) and Pec-Argyle's Noah Krahenbuhl (D3, 126) were sixth.

Witt lost 5-1 to Blaine Guthrie of Baldwin-Woodville in the third place match. Witt had previously beaten Guthrie 3-2 on Friday night.

Rielly lost to Prairie du Chien's Traeton Saint by pinfall in the fifth-plaxd match.

Krahenbuhl fell to Riverdale's Ashton Miess 5-3 in the fifth place match.
