BRODHEAD — The Rock Valley Conference released its All-Conference teams, and Aidyn Vondra paced Brodhead-Juda baseball as the lone First-Team All-Conference selection.

The senior outfielder, who will continue his athletic career with the University of Minnesota Duluth football team, led the Cardinals in multiple offensive categories: runs (24), hits (30), triples (3), stolen bases (30) and batting average (.345).

Teammates Evan Senobe and Ryan Searls received honorable mention recognition. Senobe was the team’s No. 1 pitcher, posting a 6-3 record. The junior struck out 64 batters in 56 2/3 innings pitched with a team-best 2.10 ERA. Searls was one of three batters to hit over .300, joining Gabe Bockhop and Vondra. The junior tallied 23 hits in 69 at bats for a .333 average. He scored 19 runs and drew 15 walks.

Brodhead-Juda finished the season 12-13, losing in the first round of playoffs to Rock Valley Conference rival Edgerton, 8-2.

In boys golf, Nolan Oliver was Brodhead’s lone All-Conference selection. The junior made Second-Team All-Conference.
