DODGEVILLE — Darlington fell behind the Dodgers 30-22 after the end of the first half and couldn’t rally in the second stanza of their nonconference game Feb. 21. 

Hunter Hardyman had 21 points and four 3-pointers to lead the Redbirds. Will Murray had a double-double with 10 points and 14 boards, while Carver Fitzsimons added 14 points and 7 boards and Brady Long hit three 3s.

Dodgeville had three players in double figures. Darlington out-rebounded their opponent 40-35 but shot just 36% from the field and finished 1-for-9 (11%) from the free throw line. Dodgeville was 14-for-20 from the charity stripe and hit 42.8% of attempts from the field.

Also on Feb. 21, Albany lost a tight game at Madison County Day 60-58. Monticello’s nonconference tilt against Benton was postponed to Feb. 25.
