LODI — Sugar River capped a Capitol Conference co-championship with a 6-3 win over Lodi April 29.

Ryan Downing scored four goals for the Raiders, while Breckin Faber had a goal and three assists. Aiden Hatleberg also scored a goal, and Carter Siegenthaler added an assist.

Up next is the WIAA spring season playoffs. The Raiders host Evansville May 6. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in the season opener March 30. The winner moves on to the DeForest sectional tournament, to be held May 8 with the semifinals and championship taking place the same day. The Sugar River/Evansville winner will get either McFarland, Stoughton or Monroe.
