MINERAL POINT — The Argyle-Pecatonica golf team kicked off its 2023 season, placing eighth of sixteen teams in the Dodge Point Invitational on Saturday, April 8.

“I was really happy with the way we played for our first event,” Argyle-Pecatonica head coach Chuck Chandler said. “It’s been challenging so far this spring with the weather conditions being poor and kids on Spring Break last week. We haven’t had a practice yet when all of our kids have been there, but I do think we’ll be ready to go once conference matches starts next week.”

The Orioles carded a score of 383. Mount Horeb won the invite with a score of 323, while host Mineral Point took second with a score of 333. Sophomore Alex Ruetten led the team with a score of 83.
