All-conference teams for Six Rivers announced

MONROE — The Six Rivers Conference released the football all-conference teams Nov. 15.

Black Hawk senior running back Colby Argall was named Offensive Player of the Year, while junior teammate Avery Baumgartner was Lineman of the Year and coach Cory Milz was Coach of the Year. Pecatonica-Argyle assistant coach Joe Carmody was named Assistant Coach of the Year.

Black Hawk had four players named to the first team on offense — Argall, senior tight end Rece Shelton, senior tackle Jayden Stietz and Baumgartner. Defensively, the Warriors had five first-team players: junior Gunner Foecking (DE), Baumgartner (DL), junior Cayden Milz (OLB), senior Mitchell Quinn (ILB) and Shelton (DB).

Pecatonica-Argyle, which finished second in conference behind Black Hawk, had three first-team selections: senior Jaden Hendrickson (DB), senior Colton Schraepfer (QB) and senior Everett Johnson (OL).

The Vikings had 10 players named to the second-team, however: Hendrickson (WR), junior Travis Dammen (OL), senior Zack Eaton (OL, DE), Bo Hendrickson (K), senior Garret Harris (DL), sophomore Clay Ritschard (OLB), senior Easton Schraepfer (ILB) and Colton Schraepfer (DB, P). Senior Lane Busser was honorable mention at defensive back and senior Cory Gilbertson was honorable mention at defensive end.

Black Hawk had five on the second team — senior Hunter Bredeson (OL), Foecking (OL), Stietz (DL), Argall (DB) and Shelton (P). Senior Kyle Lovelace was honorable mention at defensive back.

Potosi-Cassville had 16 total players honored — the most in the conference. Potosi-Cassville senior Cyrus Siegert and Highland senior Drew Hennessey were tabbed as co-defensive players of the year.
