Juda girls hold off Calvary Christian

WILLIAMS BAY - Juda freshman Hailey Kammerer and sophomore Chelsea Burkhalter both made free throws when their team needed them the most in the fourth quarter. Burkhalter and Kammerer combined shot 10 of 14 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter to propel the Panthers to a 48-36 win over Calvary Christian (Ill.) in the first-round of the Williams Bay Holiday tournament Friday. Burkhalter scored a game-high 16 points and made three 3-pointers in the first half to help the Panthers take a 23-17 lead at the half after a 17-6 second quarter run.
