MONROE - The Monroe Youth Hockey Association is hosting two youth hockey tournaments for the girls U10/12B division and the Pee Wees on Saturday, Jan. 19 and Friday, Jan. 20 at the SLICE. Admission is free.
The Avalanche girls play their first game at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, when they play the DC Diamonds of the Sun Prairie, Madison and Waunakee areas, while the Pee Wee Avalanche teams opens up the tournament weekend with their first game Friday against Oregon.
The schedule for the U10/U12B Girls tournament is:

10:45 a.m.- Green Bay vs. Viroqua
1:30 p.m. - DC Diamonds vs. Green Bay
4:15 p.m. - Viroqua vs. Avalanche

Along with all the action of games, MYHA is holding a raffle basket fundraiser that anyone can participate in. In addition to the 18 baskets that were donated by local and area businesses and MYHA families, there ae some silent auction items to bid on. Some of the silent auction items include: UW Men's Badger tickets, a raccoon fur hat, an original piece of art, an Aaron Rodgers print and New CCM hockey skates.
