Ploessl pitched a complete game to get the win in a 9-2 victory. He gave up just two unearned runs on five hits. He struck out four and walked five.
Argyle's Cam Treuthardt and Derek Flannery were each 2-for-4.
In the Orioles' 8-4 win over River Ridge, Argyle junior Riley Ostby went 3-for-4. Argyle senior Kyle Olson pitched four innings and gave up four earned runs on six hits. He struck out seven and walked five. Ostby pitched three shutout innings.

Belmont defeated Black Hawk 12-1 and 10-0. Black Hawk's Seth Paulson pitched two innings and gave up 11 earned runs on seven hits. He struck out one and walked seven. Black Hawk senior Troy Wellnitz pitched three innings and gave up one earned run. He struck out four and walked seven.
The Warriors were limited to just four hits in the twinbill. In the 10-0 loss, the Warriors committed five errors. Black Hawk's Tayler Rupnow pitched five innings and gave up six earned runs on eight hits. He struck out four and walked four.
