MADISON - On Friday, the Madison Mallards will host the 2009 Home Talent League All Star game at the Warner Park Duck Pond.
The game will feature North and West divisions versus the South and East divisions.
Local players that have been invited to play for the West-North team are Monroe's Lon Scheuerell (designated hitter) and Rooney Janecke (catcher, infield); Argyle pitcher Ben Wallace; Blanchardville outfielder Tim McKeon; Hollandale's Scott Norton (pitcher, outfield) and Jason Gordon (outfield); New Glarus' Wade Hanna (infield, outfield); and Wiota infielders Kory Tuescher and Aaron Lancaster.
The seven-inning game, which is the league's 80th All Star game, will start at 7:05 p.m. A player from each of the 44 teams in all four divisions was named to the rosters.
