MONROE - There were 10 area baseball players named first team Six Rivers East All-Conference recently.
Pecatonica and Albany had three first team all-conference players each. For the Vikings, senior Tannar Johnson was named to the first team as a pitcher and senior Taylor Berg as an outfielder. Pecatonica senior Ross Gilbertson received first team honors as a designated hitter. Albany senior Boomer Detra was first team all-conference as an infielder and junior teammate Cody Schulz was selected as a utility player. Albany senior Josh Peters was also selected first team all-conference as a utility player.
The other first team all-conference players include Monticello seniors Tyler Ritschard as an infielder; Monticello's Corey McGowan as a utility player; Argyle's Nate Thomas as an outfielder and Cole Jordan as a utility player.
