William C. "Bill" Goepfert, age 81 of Argyle, WI passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Monroe Health Services in Monroe, WI. Born on June 13, 1941, the son of Albert and Margaret (Buehler) Goepfert. Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. Bill was born in Monroe, WI, and raised in Argyle, WI. He was a proud graduate of Argyle High School in 1959. He went on to marry the love of his life, Carol E. Flynn, on April 7, 1962, at Yellowstone Lutheran Church in rural Argyle, WI. Together, they built a life centered around family, hard work, and dedication to their community.

Bill was a successful entrepreneur who proudly owned and operated B&B Camping & Communications for many years. His strong work ethic and commitment to his customers earned him a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy businessman. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Bill was actively involved in his community, serving as a member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Argyle and a past member of the Argyle Village Board.

Family was the foundation of Bill's life, and he was an unwavering source of love and support for his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Carol at home; his two children, Krista (Curt) Iverson of Warrens, WI, and Keith (Lynn) Goepfert of St. Michael, MN. In addition to his human family, Bill leaves behind his beloved canine companion, Lizzy. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and one son in infancy: Kevin Goepfert.

Bill's interests were as diverse as his talents. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was mowing his yard or camping with his family. He had a knack for fixing anything and everything, often tinkering in his shop for hours on end on his lawn mowers. Bill also had a keen eye for a good deal and could often be found attending auctions in search of hidden treasures. Those who knew Bill would describe him as kind, handy, and thoughtful. His generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand were hallmarks of his character. He had a heart for service, both within his family and his community, and his legacy will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
