Tony A. Wells, age 69, of Browntown passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at his home.  Born on August 29, 1953 in Freeport, IL the son of Clifford and Jean (Greier) Wells.  He graduated from South Wayne High School.  Tony was united in marriage to Rita Mellenberger on August 4, 1973 in Browntown. 

Tony worked at Moore Business Forms, dedicating 45 years before his retirement in September of 2018.  He was an active member of the Apparition’s M.C., where he shared his love for motorcycle riding.  He also enjoyed hunting and shooting sports.  Tony cherished his dogs that he had over the years, especially Koke. 

Tony is survived by his wife, Rita; children, Jenny (Randy) Rood of Monroe and Wendy Wells of Monroe; grandchildren Colton, Lexi, Tatum, Kirstin, and Ryan; and sister Mary (Denny) Harris of Lodi. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mike. 

A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held at the Apparition’s Club House 6371 Holstein Prairie Rd. Monticello, WI 53570 on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
