Teresa “Terri” A. Gruenberg, age 63, of Monroe passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at her home. She was born the daughter of Kenneth and Dorothy (Drews) Gruenberg on July 27, 1960 in Monroe. She was a graduate of Monroe High School, class of 1978.

Terri worked at Meriter Hospital in Madison for 35 years.  She later worked at the Monroe Clinic for 5 years until her retirement.  Terri was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. She loved to quilt and sew making numerous quilts for friends and family.  She was a member of a quilting club.  Terri also enjoyed baking and loved garage sales. 

Teresa is survived by her father, Ken Gruenberg of Monroe; siblings, Patricia (Jim) Schmitz of Burlington, WI, Debra Gruenberg, of Monroe, and Steve Gruenberg of Monroe; aunt, Carol (Dwayne) Robieson; nieces and nephews, Chadwick (Shelley) Schmitz, Curtis (Tara) Schmitz, Barret Gruenberg, and Avery Gruenberg; two great-nephews; two great-nieces; many cousins; and her beloved dog, Joey. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Gruenberg; three uncles, Robert (Joyce) Drews, John Drews, and Glenn (Marion) Gruenberg; special aunt, Sharon Drews; and cousins, Dan Drews and Laurie Gruenberg.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Noon at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home.  Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
