Mark Brummel, age 57 of South Wayne, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. He was born the son of Gregory and Loretta (Rood) Brummel on December 3, 1964 in Minooka, IL. He graduated from Blackhawk High School.

Mark worked at Kuhn North America for 7 years. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in South Wayne. Mark enjoyed fishing, golfing, helping his mother with her yard work, and gardening.

He is survived by his mother, Loretta of South Wayne; brothers, Mike Brummel of Argyle, Chuck (Teresa) Brummel of Sun Prairie, and Roy (Tina) Brummel of South Wayne; nieces, Katie (Tim) Look and Ashleigh (Josh) Calaway; nephew, Nicholas Brummel; and great-nieces, Alena and Harper.

He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Linda Brummel.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 12, 2022 at St. John’s Catholic Church in South Wayne with Father Peter Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
