Marina Gurns passed away at the age of 61 on February 6, 2023 after a short battle with illness.   

Marina was born on November 9, 1961 in Monroe WI.  She was the daughter of Joseph and Maria (Ruiz) Gurns. She grew up in her hometown of Albany WI.

Marina was a long-time resident of Monroe WI where she met her life partner Steve Walters.  Marina loved spending time with her two precious grandchildren Presley and Kailey.  She also loved going fishing with Steve and long walks with their dog Rocky.   

Marina is survived by her life partner Steve, her two sons Barry Hyland and Jeritt Oyer. Her grandchildren Presley and Kailey, her brother, David Gurns, sister, Diane Brewer and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Marina is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maria, her sister Marjorie Ruiz Scharf and a brother-n-law Jerry Brewer.
