Marilyn Jane Miskimon, age 91, of Winslow passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at home. She was born the daughter of Chester and Ida (Feldt) Haman on September 22, 1929 in Monroe. She was a graduate of Juda High School. Marilyn was married to Marvin Bidlingmaier, together they had four sons; she was later united in marriage to Raymond L. Miskimon on September 16, 1970 in Rockton, IL.
Marilyn spent her adult life farming in the Winslow area. She played an important role in the family auction business. Marilyn was a hard worker and enjoyed traveling, dancing, playing cards, gambling, flower gardening, and especially her family. She was a member of Martintown Community Church, Winslow Women’s Club, and Women of the Moose Chapter #599.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Mindy (Craig) McGinnis of Winslow, Jeff (Barb) Bidlingmaier of Browntown, Tom (Deb) Bidlingmaier of Browntown, Roger Bidlingmaier of Winslow; 12 grandchildren, Brooks, Hollace, and Jaden Julius, and Maddox McGinnis, Angie (Mike) Wirth, Amy (Troy) Mahon, Ashley (Chuck) Bredeson, Cory (Kerrie) Bidlingmaier, Chad (Ashley) Bidlingmaier, Carli (Jose) Cabrera, Brock (Tara) Bidlingmaier, and Calyn (Barry) Milz; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Evelyn) Haman of Milton; sister, Eileen Buttke of Brodhead; and special family members, TJ and Austin Wand; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, Steven; brother, Hollis; and special family member, Roger Wand.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Martintown Community Church with Pastor Kevin Cernek officiating. Burial will take place in Rock Lily Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service, at the church.
For those who wish to have no-contact, the service can be seen and heard from the parking lot of the church; it will also be live streamed on the Martintown Community Church Facebook page.
Memorials will be given to Martintown Community Church and Serenity Hospice.
