Leon D. Schrenk, 65, passed on September 6, 2018 in Manila, Philippines surrounded by family, close friends and his wife, Loida Schrenk. Leon was born in 1953 and graduated from Iowa Grant High School. Soon after he proudly served in the Army from 1971-1975. He went on to work closely with his family to develop the well-known Dutches Inn supper club and Southern Construction, later Schrenk Brothers Roofing.

Leon is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mildred Schrenk, his sister Cheryl Ann and his brother Lenny Schrenk. He is survived by his bothers Lorren and Larry Schrenk, his children Tammy Hagen and Tom Stuessy, multiple nieces, nephews and grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at the Monroe Country Club on October 20th from 12:30 to 4PM. Those that knew him well are encouraged to remember his fantastic sense of humor and to picture him with a cigar hanging out his mouth while attempting to tee off.
