Kyle Lee Gumtow, age 30, of Monroe passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019. He was born on April 26, 1988 the son of Brian and Lisa (Lane) Gumtow in Monroe. Kyle was a 2006 graduate of Monroe High School.
Kyle, along with his father, Brian, started Gummee’s DJ Service in 2006. He was a familiar face to many people around the Monroe area in the DJ booth for events, weddings, or just a Friday night out. He also bartended for several local bars when needed. Kyle was currently the service manager at Dearth Motors. He enjoyed Wednesday Pool League, bowling league, softball; he loved coaching basketball for the Monroe Freshman class, and Blaze Football at the YMCA. He was also an avid Packer, Badger and Brewer fan, he loved all sports.
He is survived by his parents, Brian and Lisa Gumtow of Monroe; paternal grandparents, Walter and Charlotte Gumtow; maternal grandmother, Barbara Lane; sister: Kendra (Andrew) Robbins; step-sisters: Jacqueline (Troy) Bresee, and Jessica (David Bull) Gumtow; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Donald Lane; cousin, Jason Bechtolt; and uncle, Larry Knouse.
Memorial Services will be held at 7:00PM Friday April 19, 2019 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00PM on Friday, at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com
