Kenneth Herbert Judd, 78, of rural Monroe, WI went home to be with his Lord on April 14th, 2023. He was born May 28th, 1944 in Belleville, Wisconsin. Son of Selmer A. Judd and Leona (Gmur) Judd. He attended Belleville High School and entered the Navy on March 30th, 1962 being stationed in Jacksonville, Florida, during the Cuban Crisis and the beginning of the Vietnam War, serving aboard the U.S.S. F.D. Roosevelt. He was presented with the Admiral Flately Memorial Award in 1964 and was discharged on May 27th, 1965. While in the Navy, he married Lois Ann Andruss on December 5th, 1963. Upon returning home, he worked for Janesville Auto Transport for 8 years, owned his own milk hauling route, K&D Trucking, served on the Juda Fire Department, plowed snow for the Jefferson Township, owned the Last Chance Saloon for 6 years, drove semi for Gary Anderson Trucking and worked for Allied Automotive Systems based out of Flint, Michigan, and odd jobs as a carpenter. His wife, Lois, passed away on March 19th, 1997. On February 14th, 1998, he married Janice Elaine Kutzleb of Monroe, Wisconsin. He had a great love of anything John Deere, draft horses, donkeys, old cars, and canine companion Izzy. He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and anyone who ever met him will always remember his great sense of humor and wonderful smile. He is survived by his wife Janice, 6 children: Shawn (Helen) Johnson, Laurie (Pat) Groebner, Tina (Scott) Lindner, Wendy Williams, Brenda (Rob) Weber, Melissa (Tom) Schenkel, Step-son Jeff Kutzleb, and Step-daughter Brenda (Dan) Goodman; 15 grandchildren: Thomas (Laura) Johnson, Monique Johnson, Jakob (Heather) Groebner, Tracy Boss, Brandy Groebner, Kelly (Randy) Cameron, Kenny (Brittany) Lindner, Jason (Natalie) Lindner, Kyle (Shannon) Williams, Chantel (Andy) Kennedy, Kara Williams, Kristen Weber, Nathan (Kate) Weber, Cassondra and Alexis Schenkel; 27 great-grandchildren, Step-grandchildren: Evan, Austin, and Noah Kutzleb, Jon (Chelsea) Kennedy, and Ashley Kierna, Trina and Kevin Goodman; and 2 step great-grandchildren. Sister Eileen Goplin and Brother David (Pat) Judd. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois, brother, Selmer Judd Jr., Mother, Leona, Brother-in-Law, Leroy Cockroft, Sister-In-Law Doreen Judd, Father, Selmur Judd Sr., Sister Lenore Cockroft, 4 grandchildren Ryan, Matthew, and Tyler Lindner, and Kutter Williams. Father-in-law Harley Haish. Brother-in-Law Duane (Dewey) Haish. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Belleville Cemetery.A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.
