Jeanne Anne Schultz, age 91, of Monroe passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in River Falls on February 15, 1933, the daughter of Philip and Irene (Selb) Peloquin. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1950. Jeanne received her degree in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1954, where she met her future husband, Charles Schultz. They were married on July 30, 1955 in Milwaukee.

Jeanne was a pharmacist for 55 years. In 1964, Jeanne and Charles purchased Blumer Pharmacy in Monroe, which is still in business today and known as Schultz Hometown Pharmacy. Through her work at the pharmacy, Jeanne positively influenced and mentored her children, grandchildren, and numerous students. She was a hard worker who cared deeply about her patients and customers. Jeanne and Charles had many business ventures, including owning and operating The Gift Castle for many years.

Jeanne’s faith was very important to her and she was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and time at the family cottage. Above all else, Jeanne loved spending time with her family.

Jeanne is survived by her children, Karen (Tom) Vale of Monroe, Gretchen (Chuck) Klass of Ft. Myers, FL, Karla (Joe) Ripp of Monroe, Carl of Monroe, and Lisa (Brian) Wilsey of Madison; grandchildren, Brittany (Derek) Klitzke, Erin (Tim) Stauffer, Daniel (Casey) Vale, Eric Vale, Jason Klass, Brad (Kennedy Ludwig) Ripp, Zach Ripp, and Alexis Klass; step-grandchildren, Kim (Gary) Vandivier and Tiffany (Michael Stamey) Ripp; great-grandchildren, Olivia, August, and Eleanor Klitzke, Luca Stauffer and Baby Stauffer on the way, and Molly Vale; and step-great-grandchildren, McKenna and Max Vandivier; brother-in-law David (Marion) Schultz; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; brother, Stanley Peloquin; and grandchildren, Emily Vale and Christian Wilsey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Friday, March 22nd at St. Clare of Assisi Parish in St. Victor Catholic Church with Fr. Chahm Gahng as celebrant.
