James E. Gilbertson, age 67, of Monroe, died on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born on July 19, 1951 in Monroe, the son of Harold and Hazel (Hagen) Gilbertson.

James was employed with Advance Transformer / Orchid International in Monroe for many years, as a Fork Lift operator.

He is survived by his lifelong friend, Pamela of Monroe, brother, John Gilbertson of Sabina, Ohio, and a sister, Rosie Ryskoski of Medford, Wisconsin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Carol Potaczek.

Per James wishes no services will be held.

James burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Warren, IL.
