Harold A. White, 94, passed away on February 3, 2021 in Freeport Memorial Hospital. Harold was born on July 4, 1926 in Buena Vista, IL to Fred and Roxiena (Gilchrest) White. He graduated from Orangeville High School in 1944. On June 5, 1949 he married Marian A. Kubly in Rock Grove, IL. Marian passed away on December 17, 1981.

Harold was a retired Stephenson County Farmer. He was employed by Monroe Tucking INC., delivering and returning trucks for customers for over twenty years. Harold was a member of Indian Grove Country Church in Rock City, IL. He was a member of Stephenson County Farm Bureau, and was the Director of Stephenson County Mutual Insurance Company of Rock City for twenty-five years. He was a former Scout Master of Troop 28 Boys Scouts of Rock Grove. Harold enjoyed his family, fishing, dancing, and visiting with friends. He spent winters at Rio Grande City, Texas since 1989.

Harold is survived by his three sons, Greg (Lynette) White of TX, Dan (Sue) White of Freeport, and Darrell (Phyllis) White of MI.; eight grandchildren, Scott (Jamie) White of Rock City, Erin (Jeff) Cates of TX, Kevin (Amy) White of Freeport, April (Aaron) Potter of Lena, Eric (Karen) White of New Glarus, WI, Bethany (Paul) Hammerstrum of Adrian, MI, Thomas (Amanda) Lamm of Waterford MI, and Paul (Melissa) Lamm of Culver, OR; nineteen great grandchildren, and his brother Vernon (Betty) White of Freeport, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marian, his granddaughter, Allison White, and his good friend Betty Folk.

A memorial service will be held at Indian Grove Country Church Rock City, IL. He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe, WI.
