Fred Franklin Fisher, 73, of Brodhead, Wisconsin, passed away on May 31, 2024, in Rockford, Illinois.
A man of great work ethic, Fred began his career as a Certified Auto Mechanic at Bryden Motors in Beloit, WI. He later pursued his passion for the open road as an OTR Trucker with A&H in Footville, WI, and Blackhawk in Beloit, WI. Fred continued his love for driving as a Chauffeur for the Amish community in Brodhead, WI.
Fred was known for his love of Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, and Harley Davidsons. He was an avid fisherman, particularly enjoying catching Catfish in the local Rock River. In his free time, he also enjoyed hunting and cooking.
He is survived by his mother, Ellen Fisher, his siblings Russell, Arthur, Faith (Gerald) Grossen, Jesse, and William, his life partner Raven Atkerson, former spouse, Shirley Fisher, children, Laurie McAtee, and Fred F. Fisher II, as well as his (7) grandchildren, Rod, Courtney, Jared,
Fred III, Larry, Love, and Trinity. (7) great-grandchildren, Juelz, Cortez, A'vae, Jared II, Khloe, Ziona, Anthony and his rock-solid friend Greg Manthey. Fred is preceded in death by his father, Jessie T., his brother Wayne, and his granddaughter Patience.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at The schoolhouse in The Amish Community of Brodhead, Wisconsin on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 11:00am - 1:30pm
Fred F. Fisher will be missed by all who knew him.
