Frances “Fran” Wolff

Frances “Fran” Wolff, 93, of Warren, IL passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Lena Living Center, surrounded by her family.  Fran was born on April 14, 1930 to Edwin and Charlotte (Drake) Huffman.  She married Frederick “Fred” Wolff Sr. on April 16, 1955 and together they raised three devoted children. Fran farmed alongside her husband while raising the children.  In her later years, Fran worked at Coast to Coast in Warren for Tom and Janet Sargent.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Warren. Fran enjoyed playing cards, riding motorcycles and snowmobiling with Fred. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Fran is survived by her children; Fritz (Deb) Wolff of Warren, Julie (Ray) Costello of Rockford and Jamie (Carey) Wolff of Warren, Grandchildren; Brynn (Dennis) Groezinger of Lena, Benjamin (Amber Kness) Wolff of Browntown, Janelle (Jim) Jaeggi of Monroe, Jacob (Stephanie) Wolff of Warren, Kyle (Laurel) Wolff of Warren, and Mitchell Wolff of Warren, granddog Louie, Great Grandchildren; Grace and Will Groezinger, Camden and Cooper Wolff, Jaxon Kness, Jamison, Lily, and Layla Jaeggi, and Leah and Elaina Wolff, Sisters; Liz Malkow, Dora (Bobby) Miller Brothers Marvin (Cathy) Huffman, John (Becky) Huffman, and Gary (Lynette) Huffman, brothers-in-law; Chuck Hartin, and Gene (Miriam) Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred, brothers Max Huffman and Bob Huffman, sisters; Jan Taylor, and Donna Hartin, and a great-granddaughter Maggie Groezinger. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday February 7, 2024 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Warren, Illinois

A visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of services at the church on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

Pastor Steve Kottke will officiate the services

Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory for Heartland Hospice.
