Donald “Papa Don” Lepper Sr., age 78, of Monroe, died on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. He was born on June 10, 1940 in Modesto, CA, the son of Alvin and Elizabeth (Howell) Lepper. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Don married Mary Stauffacher-Brandt on June 22, 2002.

He owned and operated Papa Don’s Horseshoe Saloon for many years. He belonged to Harley Owners group.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lepper of Monroe; children: Donald (Tina) Lepper Jr., Michael Lepper, Danny Lepper, Donny Lepper, Wayne Jackson, and Lisa Himes; step-son, Brian (Amy) Brandt; sister, Anita Shefield. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael; and sister, Barbara.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kelly Cemetery. A visitation will be Sunday, November 4th, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
