When he wasn’t working, Don enjoyed doing word searches, reading books, and finding his way around using an atlas. He spent plenty of time outdoors hunting for raccoon and deer throughout the years. In his younger years, he loved to take Dorothy dancing. In 2018 Don and his daughter Darci took a trip of a lifetime on the Badger Honor Flight to Washington D.C. where he and other veterans visited veterans memorials and honored those who served our nation. He was a social butterfly who always had a story and a joke to tell his friends and family and always knew how to make them smile.
