Denise A. Lambrecht, age 62 of Monroe passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the SSM Health Monroe Hospital.  She was born on July 31, 1961 the daughter of Richard and Eva (Surrell) Garwell.  Denise graduated from Black Hawk High School in 1979.  She was united in marriage to Michael Lambrecht, they shared many wonderful years together. 

Denise was a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Reedsburg area; she later worked at Aster in Monroe.  She was a member of the Monroe Bible Church.  Denise loved going to thrift shops, going camping and fishing, playing cards, and going out to eat. 

Denise is survived by her sons, Brandon (Rachel) Garwell and Arthur (Kaaren) Stubbs; siblings, Terry (Linda) Garwell, Liz (David) Wilson, Brenda (Scott) Grossen, and Donna (Kurt) Wyss; sister-in-law, Joyce Garwell; and dear friend, Cecil. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Richard “Andy” Garwell; and mother-in-law, Mary Lambrecht.
