Carson Phillip Buholzer

Carson Phillip Buholzer, age 17, of Monroe, died on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, as the result of an automobile accident. Carson was born on February 21, 2006 in Madison, the son of Adam and Teena (Boss) Buholzer. He was a senior at Monroe High School where he played soccer and hockey.

Carson had a unique ability to bring joy and energy to any room. He was a loyal friend that would drop what he was doing to help at any moment. His laugh was contagious and would always make you smile. Carson had many interests and passions including playing hockey, soccer, water sports, snow skiing, fishing, and hanging out with his family and friends. He loved driving his Subaru and was earning money for college by working part time at his family’s business, Klondike Cheese.

Carson was a very kind young man who had many family and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly including his parents, Adam and Teena Buholzer; three brothers, Vincent, Alvin, and Cole; paternal grandparents, Steve and Thea Buholzer; maternal grandparents, Rickie and Ruth Boss; aunt, Melissa (Matt) Buholzer Erdley(cousins, Julianna and Benjamin Erdley); three uncles, Travis (Katie) Moen (cousins, Casper and Sebastian Moen), Tim (Tina) Lattin (cousins, Cloey and Ryker Lattin), Troy (Rachel) Lattin (cousins, Kaydon Proctor, Kinley and Kenna Lattin). He is further survived by Godparents, Matt and Melissa Erdley, Eric and Sara Falsey, Luke Buholzer, and Tracy Eidsmoe. Carson was preceded in death by paternal great grandparents, Alvin and Rosa Buholzer, Al and Vivian Schmidt; maternal great grandparents, Donald and Marianne Boss, Earlingand Lenore Moen. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church, Monroe. Father Chahm Gahngand Father Tafadzwa Kushamba will concelebrate. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Monroe, followed by a luncheon in St. Victor School gymnasium. Visitation will be held in the St. Victor Catholic Church gathering space on Monday, October 30, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Carson’s name. The funeral mass will be livestreamed, https://youtube.com/live/22phr0chcXk?feature=shareFuneral Livestream Carson Buholzer
