MONROE — On July 11, Pleasant View Nursing Home held a signing event for this year’s Youth Apprentices to healthcare.

Parents, teachers, and students from Brodhead, Albany and Monroe School Districts kicked off the year-long program that teaches students while they are paid to work. Pleasant View partners with Blackhawk Technical College to offer students the opportunity to receive their CNA license during their internship free of charge.

Pleasant View is committed to growing the next generation of healthcare workers who will carry on the strong tradition of compassionate, skilled nursing and rehab care that has made them the pride of Green County.
