MONROE - Woodford State Bank is holding a free electronics recycling event in the former Walmart parking lot.
Those want to drop of old electronics, including old televisions, computers and accessories, cell phones, DVD players/VCRs, stereo equipment, small kitchen appliances, holiday lights and vacuum cleaners, can do so from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 26 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27.
All personal data is guaranteed to be safely and securely destroyed. Donations of recycled goods will help support Green County Habitat for Humanity and the Green County Humane Society.
